Our Story

Founded in 1985

Founded in 1985 by brothers Carlos and Eddy Montiel, Carlos & Carlos began with a bold vision: bringing an authentic white-tablecloth Italian dining experience to Chicagoland. Known for fresh pasta prepared before guests, exceptional service, and signature dishes that quickly earned acclaim, the restaurant became a favorite destination for celebrities, business leaders, and generations of loyal guests.
Today, Carlos & Carlos continues that tradition in the heart of Downtown Arlington Heights. This intimate French, Italian bistro combines homemade cuisine, warm hospitality, and an elegant atmosphere to create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Had an amazing experience at Carlos & Carlos in downtown Arlington Heights! The chef prepared a personal dish that was incredible in every flavor and aroma. Don't miss the liquor cart! We went on a Friday evening and everything was outstanding—from the mussels and clams appetizer to the incredible Black Pasta and crème brûlée. Overall, a fantastic experience and we'll definitely be back.
